because i cant do this

Were in her room
sitting on her bed
staring at the wall
she looks at me and says
"I dont know what to do"
tears roll down her eyes
I can tell she is confused
I grab her hand and interlock it with mine
I tell her everything will be alright
she gives me a look like are you crazy
I kiss her on the lips just to show her I still care...

Weeks go by haven't spoken sense
she wont return my calls
she pretends I was never there
she's moved on to some one new
some new heart to break
some new love to make

In the begining
things were oh so well.
But as time went on
everything came crashing down.

So im staring down this loaded gun
looking into the darkness of my life.

Secrets in sand and flame I wrote in this diary one day
I didn't understand my own words.
They were so spacious,
So empty minded
And heavy hearted.
I felt like I was my own best enemy,
And my own worst friend.
The wrappers could only cover so much
The wriggling things inside hid only so well
And the sand beneath my feet cried out
Asked to take my coat,
Asked me to stay awhile.
And I couldn't leave. The pleas of so many

I definitely do. I don't mean to pressure you in saying to "keep it up;" someone said that to me once and I felt the same way. What I mean is that you've got talent, and you won't lose it as long as you write about what's close and important to you. So... keep doing that.
